The Bend Bike Swap, now in its second decade, is a benefit for Bend Endurance Academy, a non-profit organization that teaches kids the joy of endurance sports.
Created by Ryan McGlone from Boneyard Cycling, the Bend Bike Swap began as a way to give back to the local community. Ryan brought together volunteers from the Boneyard Team, local bike shops and the cycling community for three days of bikes, bike gear, and cycling enthusiasm. Funds raised were donated to local nonprofits.
Since 2017, the Bend Endurance Academy continues the tradition of offering an assortment of gear for everything bikes – from strider to bmx to road to cyclocross to gravel and all forms of mountain biking. Sponsorship support helps underwrite the cost of producing the event.
